Waimea Theater

Waimea Theater theater

The Historic Waimea Theater is a 1938 Art Deco single-screen cinema on Kauai's west side, saved by the community after a 27-year closure and restored by the County of Kauai in 1999. This beloved local gem shows movies on one screen with cozy rattan loge chairs, hosts HIFF events and live performances, and stands as the furthest-west movie theater in the United States.
