Tower Theatre

The Tower Theatre is Salt Lake Valley's oldest operating movie house, a 1928 landmark in the 9th & 9th district now owned by the nonprofit Salt Lake Film Society. Saved from demolition in 2001, the historic theater closed in 2020 and is undergoing a full restoration, with reopening planned before its 100th anniversary in 2028. A cornerstone of Utah film history, reborn for its next century.
