Music Box Theatre

The Music Box Theatre is Chicago's landmark independent cinema, an atmospheric 1929 movie palace on Southport Avenue with a twinkling starlit ceiling. Independently owned and operated, it programs independent, foreign, cult and classic films — from 70mm festivals and live-organ silent screenings to midnight movies and beloved sing-alongs.
