Egyptian Theatre
Boise's Egyptian Theatre is Idaho's grandest surviving movie palace, a 1927 Egyptian Revival landmark lovingly restored in 1999 and still glowing on Main Street. The downtown single-screen hosts classic film series, concerts, and live events under its ornate hieroglyphic decor, a testament to community preservation after it survived 1970s urban renewal. A cherished Boise icon where golden-age cinema architecture meets modern programming.
