5th Avenue Cinema

The 5th Avenue Cinema is Oregon's only student-run cinema, a Portland State University nonprofit screening 35mm film since 1989. Entirely programmed and operated by PSU students, it shows eclectic classics and independent titles on real celluloid — a rarity in the digital age. Free popcorn at every show and some of the cheapest tickets in town make it a beloved Portland institution.
